This kettle was jammed in the hedgerow when I went for a walk. The hedgerow was alongside some allotments and I tried unsuccessfully to remove it from where it was stuck. I headed home without it but a pair of secateurs later it was free and back at my house. It has a handle bent and distorted but I like its quirky nature. It sits in front of some linocuts I have been doing and I have sketched it already.
A gift of some tea from China. It was a small grey nut shape so finding a glass and then pouring hot water over it and letting it sit for a while an intricate flower showed up. I had not seen this before so it was a pleasant surprise…ta very much! And it smelled and tasted nice too…. 🙂
