Sometimes in the garden stuff appears and then it is gone. The black edge gave this small clump a slightly sinister look.
Sometimes we don’t notice trees. They are there, quiet and standing silent and we walk past on our daily business and take no notice unless the dogs need to use them. However nature makes sure that we take notice. A fine strong breeze will rattle through the leaves and sing a fine tune and we have to listen and notice the shaking and swaying of the branches and the falling leaves. The heavens will open and we are forced to take shelter under the spread of the natural canopy. Then the sunlight will strike the bark and shine through the branches and create lines and shadows and then we really do have to stop in our tracks and take note. Often we can take good landscape/environmental photographs and sometimes/just sometimes there are what could be called imperfections in the image, not photographic ones but environmental….I liked the image of the man and his white dog on the beach as the tide stretched out behind them but there was an annoying plastic bottle strewn on the sand dune in the foreground!
Pretty landscape but swing around to the right a little and see… Beautiful blue water in front of Cockenzie power Station from Musselburgh. It is a coal fired station that has just been closed ( I only just learned it was not a nuclear power station as I had always presumed…)
Fine lines in the sky, the fumes of airplanes cutting across clear blue skies……..
Signs of the times 🙂
